Thanksgiving Day will be opening day for Vail Mountain

Lack of snow has delayed Vail Mountain opening day from Nov. 17th to Thanksgiving Day Nov. 23rd. While disappointing, it is not surprising and certainly not the first time Vail's opening day has been delayed. Colder temps and snowfall is expected later this week. Good news is that the paid parking in the Vail Parking structure will also be delayed and paid parking will coincide when the ski season begins. So many things to be thankful for this upcoming Thanksgiving. Pray for snow and a beautiful opening day!
